About Carl Friedrich

Carl Friedrich is a physician practice management executive with over twenty years of experience in the New York City Health Care market. Carl has extensive experience working with physicians, group practices, and hospital-based integrated practices, and his focus is on strategic positioning, business performance, practice expansion and turn-around projects.

Carl began working with and managing physicians in 1992, and has worked at many of the leading hospitals in New York City. In 1999, he created CFM, LLC, a consulting business focused on practice re-design, revenue cycle improvement, and strategic positioning. In 2016, he joined EMU Health where he served over 3-years as the Chief Operating Officer for the startup ASC in central Queens. By 2020, Carl Friedrich returned to full time consulting, with a focus on the development and execution of competitive strategy and practice performance.
